When My Heart Fails

"My flesh and my heart may fail,but God is the strengthof my heart and my portion forever."Psalm 73:26

There was a time in King David’s life where he found himself all alone, where he had lost everything in his life including the loyal friends that went to battle with him.

We find in 1 Samuel 30:6 David was very distraught and he cried out to the Lord! He realized at that moment that God was the only one who could truly rescue him from his situation.

"Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God." I Samuel 30:6

Something that really sets David apart, after he cried out and He encouraged HIMSELF in the Lord!

You may find yourself in a place where you feel you’re fighting this battle alone, that is when you draw your strength from the Lord who is your rescuer and know that He is right by your side and He will encourage and strengthen your heart!
